In the last half of 2016, employers will work diligently on reporting for the current year’s data as well as prepare for the new year. During the latter part of each year, employee benefits programs and their providers are carefully considered, and employers plan for open enrollment with their agents and employees. Getting Started

To prepare for open enrollment, health plan sponsors should be aware of the legal changes affectingvoluntary insurance the design and administration of their plans for plan years beginning on or after Jan. 1, 2017. In addition, health plan sponsors should make sure that open enrollment packages include certain participant notices.
